Just three days before New Year's Day 2012, an electrical fire heavily damaged the Crossing Community Church on Indio Road in Fort Pierce. Fortunately, there were no injuries; however yellow tape kept people away from the area where the church's roof was in danger of collapsing.
GuideOne Insurance and GTB were notified of the loss the afternoon of the fire with GTB's construction consultant (Eric Johnson) arriving on site that evening. Eric Johnson, with the help of members of the Crossing Community Church began the emergency mitigation of contents in preparation for the New Years weekend celebration. GTB is currently scoping the damage to the structure while the church determines how they wish to proceed with repairs.
