A fire tore through the cafeteria of the Bethany University campus located in Scotts Valley, CA on June 16, 2009. The result of the fire left the University’s 3000 square foot kitchen destroyed and 6000 square foot cafeteria with smoke and water damage.
Within 4 hours of notification; the GuideOne Insurance National Property Claims Supervisor was onsite assessing the damage and addressing the Universities logistical concerns.
In continuing with its customer care; GuideOne and GuideOne Taylor Ball Construction Services began the demolition phase of the fire damaged building while University officials begin the design phase of their new cafeteria.
