First Baptist Church of Wildwood - Wildwood, Florida

The First Baptist Church of Wildwood deeply appreciates your response to our need in restoring our Sanctuary following the fire in February. The representatives from your company were understanding and cooperative with our Building Committee and demonstrated their ability to secure services needed to restore our Worship Center.

They responded to our requests, provided options, and worked very hard to use our Building Committee?s ideas in the restoration process. We have an improved Worship Center because of your dedication to this task. We commend you for your excellent service.

- Richard A. Gaskins Chairman, Building Committee

The reconstruction of this church was due to a fire which started in a vestibule closet under the stairs leading to the balcony. There was extensive fire, smoke and water damage to the sanctuary and other parts of this facility. Many improvements were made during the general reconstruction.

The balcony was reconfigured to give better views of the podium as well as a new sound booth and equipment. New sheetrock ceilings were added with improved texturing that would provide better acoustics in the sanctuary. Air handlers and ductwork were installed providing better airflow and improved lighting was another improvement.

GuideOne Taylor Ball makes attention to detail a priority. The congregation of this facility was skeptical that the completion date they were given early on in the project could be met. Dedication services were indeed held on Sunday, September 1, 1999 as promised. Construction cost was $485,000.
